It is becoming a beloved tradition to start the new year with an exclusive Speyside tasting at our Ardbeg Embassy led by Olof Noreus from Chivas Brothers, and we of course want to continue this tradition as we begin 2026.
We have an exciting tasting ahead of us with a deep dive into the Speyside region where we get to know the distilleries The Glenlivet, Aberlour, Glen Keith & the lost distillery Caperdonich. We sort out the whisky concepts, talk about Scottish whisky tradition past and present, the many different aspects that affect taste and aroma and much more. Olof also usually gives lots of travel recommendations for upcoming trips to Scotland and has a great focus on getting interactive tastings with lots of questions and discussions.
An exciting tasting line with several exclusive and very limited bottlings. Or as Olof usually says "A tasting where glass 1 is The Glenlivet 18 YO, it won't be a boring tasting". Get to know the classic The Glenlivet that has had such a great importance for the whisky tradition around Speyside and with a special edition in the lineup, the appreciated and sherry cask-loving Aberlour with an exclusive novelty in the line this tasting. Representatives from the exclusive Secret Speyside series in the form of a very long-aged Glen Keith bottling and a smoky 25-year-old edition from the lost distillery Caperdonich who distilled their last new make in 2002 before the distillery closed its doors and was finally demolished in 2011.
We try:
