From January 20th to March 30th, the team behind Kilchoman will be touring Europe. During these 10 weeks, they will visit 26 countries, and of course Sweden is an important country on the map.
To further enhance the tour and the four stops here in Sweden, an exclusive bottling has been made, something as unusual as a Mezcal barrel-aged Kilchoman. This unique barrel aging weaves together smoky Mezcal with the typical Islay peat smoke and blooms into citrus, tropical fruits and lovely spices.
When Anthony Wills started his small-scale farm distillery in 2002, the local newspaper wrote The ilea that it was ”the most fun thing to happen on Islay in 124 years”. Kilchoman came to start a wave of smaller craft distilleries and inspire many to follow. Today, Kilchoman is a very successful ”self-made” distillery that makes a classic and acclaimed Islay whisky where the entire process from cultivation to bottling takes place at Rockside Farm, on the west coast of Islay.
We are delighted that the Kilchoman Truck Tour 2026 is coming to us. Hurry up to book your place and join us on a journey through smoke and peat together with tasting managers George Wills from the owner family and Brand Manager Catherine MacMillan.
On Saturday 28th February, Kilchomans James Wills and Emma McHarrie will be at the Ardbeg Embassy in Stockholm to look after us along with Chabbe and his team. It will be a magical evening in the living room.
We try five types of awesome Kilchoman with the 15th anniversary whiskey and the Mezcal bottling as elusive top numbers.
We are trying these varieties this Saturday afternoon.
Ardbeg Embassy is closed from March 29 due to water damage which is now being repaired.
We hope to be able to reopen in mid-June.
Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
