Rum, drinks and good food!

On Thursday, March 2, we will celebrate spring with a rum rummy at Ardbeg Embassy.

After last year's packed gin tasting, our house elf Örjan Westerlund is back!

He is a guide through the history of rum with tastings of the different styles available, from British, French and Spanish producers. We learn the basics and flavors and then sail into port with a delicious main course.

We take the sugar cane from the Pacific Ocean, to the Caribbean with pirates, slaves and the British Navy's rum ration with a toast to lemons and grog all the way to today's great boom for dark quality rum.

Drinks included

• 1 aperitif,
• we try 4 types of rum and also get
• an avec with West Indian origins to the homemade chocolate truffle we round off the meal with.

Grenadine Bokförlag's "The Great Rome Book" will be available for purchase at the tasting!
