Teerenpeli Single Malt Whisky

Welcome to an exciting tasting of single malt whisky from Finnish Teerenpeli Distillery, which has been named the world's best whisky producer 2024 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2024. Learn more about Finland's oldest whisky distillery and about Finnish whisky history.

The tasting is held by Brand Manager Martin Tjäder, who is one of Sweden's most sought-after lecturers on the subject of whisky.

The original Teerenpeli distillery was founded in 2002 in the centre of Lahti. It was built inside the Taivaanranta restaurant. The distillery's showroom is open to all visitors during the restaurant's opening hours. The showroom offers visitors an interesting insight into the whisky distilling process, raw materials and a nice view of the copper stills and oak barrels.

The larger Teerenpeli distillery is located adjacent to the Teerenpeli brewery just outside the center of Lahti. The brewery and distillery are only a 10-minute drive from the city center. The distillery was built in 2015. It is the largest copper pot still distillery in Finland and distills approximately 100,000 liters of pure Nordic spirits per year.
