THE SECRET SPEYSIDE COLLECTION WITH OLOF NOREUS

Let us initiate 2024 properly with a exclusive testing by Chivas Brothers Secret Speyside-series with Olof Noreus.

The Secret Speyside Collection is an exclusive whisky series from Chivas Brothers consisting of long-aged bottlings from four of Speyside's lesser-known distilleries which launch and have historically launched extremely few official bottlings. Glen Keith, unknown to most, is found in Keith in eastern Speyside, extremely few official bottlings have been released over the years and if you have ever tried a Glen Keith Single Malt it is probably from an independent bottler. Longmorn, a distillery a little more familiar and often highly praised among malt lovers but with historically few official Single Malt releases. Caperdonich Single Malt is not only very rare to come across, it is also a "lost" distillery that distilled its last new make in 2002 before the distillery closed its doors and was mothballed and then demolished in 2011.

We are delighted to welcome Olof Noreus, Senior Whisky Brand Ambassador at Pernod Ricard Sweden, back to Ardbeg Embassy to guide us through the Secret Speyside series and to take us on a lovely return visit around Speyside. Many of you will be familiar with Olof from many years in the industry as a valued tasting leader.
